How to register
In
September 2004, the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act came
into effect. The Medical Laboratory Science profession has been
regulated under this legislation since then.
Registration is possible in either of two scopes of practice:
- Medical Laboratory Scientist
- Medical Laboratory Technician

If you
are applying from outside New Zealand, you must allow 2-4 weeks
processing time for your application, starting from the date your
completed application form, plus all fees and documents, is received by
the MLSB |
